Why did you choose UMass Lowell?
I came to UMass Lowell because it was a great school for the Criminal Justice program and they offer a masters. I also have friends that came here before me and they always told me how great it is. I visited a few times and found that I liked it as well.
Describe your UMass Lowell experience:
I was a little hesitant when I started looking here at first because it is so close to home. But after I stayed on campus and made new friends I found that it didn't matter how close to home I was as long as I got involved. I have to say that I've had such a great experience here. I have all sorts of friends here; athletes, commuters, etc. The experience you have here at UMass Lowell is what you make of it. For me it has been one of the best times of my life for sure.
Why did you decide to become an Orientation Leader at UMass Lowell?
I decided to become an Orientation Leader because I fell in love with the University. I learned and experience that it has so much to offer but you have to be willing to go out and get it. By becoming an OL I can now help others learn how to make their college experience one that they will remember. I also love seeing the excitement on new student's faces when they get to learn about a new chapter in their life. It is truly a gist to be a part of that chapter.
