Audrey Mangone

Audrey is in her second year in Orientation and first year as an Operations Manager.  She is a member of the class of 2010 from Cambridge, MA, as an English major with a minor in Comparative Arts.  She is the editor-in-chief of the UMass Lowell Connector student newspaper and a member of the English Honors Society, National Honors Society, Centers for Learning Writing Tutor, and Orientation.

Why did you choose UMass Lowell?
My brother came here, and I want to be just like him! I also love the city of Lowell, the hockey team and the different things the writing program has to offer me.

What is your favorite thing about UMass Lowell?
My favorite thing is the newspaper office, located in McGauvran Student Union. McGauvran is my favorite place on campus because so many students hang out there; it makes me feel like home!

What is your ideal Saturday? 
Throwing my laundry in the wash, going shopping at Target, putting my laundry in the dryer, taking a nap, putting my laundry away, then going to the beach with my two best friends and laughing about our inside jokes that never get old.
