Orientation & Registration

Andy is participating in his third year of Orientation and as part of the Leadership Team.  He is a member of the class of 2011 as a Music Education and Performance major from Fall River, MA.  In addition to Orientation, Andy is a member of the UMass Lowell Marching Band, UMass Lowell Performance Club and MENC, the Music Education Club.

Why did you choose UMass Lowell?
I chose UMass Lowell because of the great atmosphere the campus has. My first visit to campus was a memorable one and it was the deciding factor for me in coming here. The student atmosphere is so friendly and accepting and the small class sizes are great for my major.

What is your favorite thing about UMass Lowell? 

I honestly love the South Campus Quad. It feels so homey and it is actually a fun place to hang out with friends!

What is your ideal Saturday?

My ideal Saturday would include practicing the clarinet, going to the gym, hanging out and grabbing a bite to eat with friends, and sleeping in.
