Web 2.0 is changing the way in which we teach, learn, and conduct research and service in higher education. The interactive properties, "semantic web" aspects of data aggregation, and the broad dissemination of information via RSS is creating a whole new environment that didn't exist a decade ago. Blogs, podcasts, mashups, shared online document editing, and related applications were discussed in terms of how they engage students and can enhance the teach and learning process - in face-to-face, blended, web-enhanced or online courses.
