To study theater is to study the world through the medium of one's own concrete experience.
Live theater trains our perceptions and enhances our creative capacities for all fields as it broadens and sharpens our understanding of others. Theater draws on many art forms, as well as on technology, to reach audiences through storytelling, movement, music, scenic design, lighting, costume and sound.
Students of theater become part of an important cultural process that shows us ourselves.
