- The 14th Annual Gathering at the Well Forum sponsored by the Center for Women and Work will be hosted on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Alumnae Hall, 84 University Avenue, on the University of Massachusetts Lowell's North Campus. The theme for the forum is "The F Word": How Feminism Fits." Admission is free but a donation of $25 is suggested. Lunch will follow the program. - Congratulations are extended to Dr. Joan Cannon, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, who was recently selected to serve as the 2011-2012 Faculty Consultant and Reviewer for Psi Chi, the International Society in Psychology, for the awards and grants competitions. These include, among others, the Allyn & Bacon Awards, the Graduate Research Grants, the Guilford Awards and the Undergraduate Research Grants.
- Congratulations are also extended to Dr. Andy Hostetler, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, who was just elected to serve on the the American Psychological Association's Council of Education Programs for the Society for Community Research & Action (SCRA). Dr. Hostetler also serves on the SCRA’s Task Group on Competencies for Practice.
