The UMass Lowell Sound Recording Technology program has produced Grammy winners and has hosted international recording notables, including Phil Ramone, who has produced the likes of Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Luciano Pavarotti. A 1984 creation of Dr. William Moylan, the SRT program has become a signature program and is internationally recognized. Read more...

The Music Education program is the "first in the nation" in music education. It is the oldest public music education program in the country.
