UML FacilitiesThe Facilities Department coordinates many vital functions related to the usage, maintenance, repair, safety, energy utilization and construction of the interior and exterior of the UML physical plant. This includes classrooms, laboratories, research centers, athletic facilities, function rooms, administrative offices and parking lots and garages. The department works to keep the campus clean, safe and esthetically pleasing and does this in the least disruptive way to campus activities. It also strives to incorporate environmentally-friendly practices such as recycling, use of renewable energy sources and other “green” techniques.
