Operations and Services

The Facilities Operations and Services Division coordinates vital functions related to the usage, maintenance, repair, safety, energy utilization and construction of UMass Lowell buildings and grounds, also known as the physical plant. From classrooms, laboratories and administrative offices to athletic facilities, function rooms and parking garages, the department works to keep the campus clean, safe and attractive, while enabling the success of campus activities. All department initiatives incorporate environmentally-friendly practices such as recycling, use of renewable energy sources and other green techniques.
