Led by Profs. David Lewis and Ashwin Mehta of the College of Management, bring your ideas and challenges to this interactive session on social entrepreneurship. After an overview of general principals and examples of both for-profit and non-profit models, break into working groups to refine your own approach. The seminar is open to 15 established or emerging entrepreneurs. Refreshments will be provided.

The Field Hockey Thursday Night Summer League will be held on July 28, August 4, 11 and 18 from 6-8:45 p.m. and is open to girls in grade levels 9-12. Prior field hockey playing experience is necessary and the cost is $90. There is also a skills clinic being offered from 5-6 p.m. on the evenings of the Thursday Night Summer league. It will cost attendees $50 and is a great opportunity to focus on individual stick skills, goal scoring, goalkeeping and defense.

Please join The Center for Irish Partnerships for a reception celebrating phase II of the Irish-American Heritage Archeological Program, which includes the international exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, and an annual two-week excavation program – one week in Lowell and one week in Tyrone, Northern Ireland – crewed by students from UMass Lowell and Queen’s University Belfast. There will be a presentation by archaeologist Dr. Colm Donnelly from Queen's University and artifacts uncovered during the excavation will be on display at the event. Tickets $30 per person.
