University employees are granted certain rights under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other federal and state laws. The following links provide information regarding your rights and accommodations:
Under Civil Rights laws, the University is required to provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and for religious reasons. Additionally, the University should review whether requests for caretaker accommodation are feasible. While there are some similarities between the different forms of accommodations, there are also some important distinctions. An individual may request more than one type of accommodation. Being a member of any of these groups cannot be a basis for discrimination.
