Dear Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Graduate.
Please take some time out of you busy life to complete and return the attached survey. It is one component of our program of continuous assessment and improvement that helps us to keep our program (and your degree) ABET accredited.
In the first part of the survey, we request some data from you on how your career has progressed in the first five years since graduation from the Bachelor’s program. This is an objective measure of how successful we have been in achieving our program objectives. In the second part of the survey we seek your opinion (subjective measure) on how successful we were in achieving these objectives.
Please provide us with your name (so that we can stop bothering you). Rest assured that the data you provide will only be used or published in statistical form, and will not be related in any way to your identity. Your information will not be provided to any fundraising body.
Finally, I would like to invite you to get involved with the Department. We are always on the lookout for student mentors, industrial advisors and seminar speakers. Please visit our Website at http://mechanical.uml.edu/ and visit the alumni section. If you plan to be in the vicinity please drop in for a visit.
Sincerely,
John W. McKelliget, Ph. D.
