Dues-paying
members and affiliates of AASMI receive
subscriptions to Imagination Cognition and
Personality, discounted registration fees for AASMI
conferences, discounted prices for books in
Baywood's Imagery and Human Development Series, and
web-site linkages to their imagery-related
services. Yearly dues are $50 for members and
affiliates, and $35 for student affiliates.
Members
are required to have a masters degree or doctoral
degree in any field pertaining to the study or
application of mental imagery, and are eligible to
vote and hold office in the Association. Affiliates
are required only to have an expressed interest in
the study and application of mental imagery, are
not eligible to vote or hold office in the
Association, but are entitled to all other rights
and privileges extended to members. Student
affiliates are required to provide proof of
enrollment in an accredited institution, and are
entitled to the same rights and privileges as
affiliates.
The
current membership period extends from April 15,
1999, to April 14, 2000. All applications received
in 1999 will be applied to this membership period.
Current members, affiliates, and student affiliates
will receive all four issues from the 19th volume
of Imagination Cognition and Personality, covering
the period from July1, 1999, to June 30,
2000.
In
order to become an AAMI member or affiliate, or to
renew your status, please make a copy of the
following form and fill it out. Then, along with a
check or money order made payable to AASMI in US
dollars, send the form to
