  • Five undergraduate options. Choose our General option if you'd like to explore, or focus your studies with options in: Biotechnology; Bioinformatics; Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology; or Pre-Medical/Pre-Health.

  • Proximity to Boston's biotech corridor. Take advantage of being located in the heart of the nation's biotech industry, with over 1,000 life sciences companies located in the greater Boston area. Biology students have completed internships and professional co-ops with nearby hospitals, established pharma and biotech companies, and innovative start-ups, which help launch their careers after graduating.
  • Experiential learning. We emphasize real-world training for all Biology majors, with students carrying out cutting-edge research in our labs, participating in industry co-ops, and giving back to their community through our service-learning courses.
