Our Mission

In addition to the missions of educating a talented workforce and conducting cutting edge research, the University of Massachusetts plays a vital role in technology commercialization and economic development. Technology commercialization takes place within Commercial Ventures and Intellectual Property (CVIP), where we work with the faculty to commercialize their technologies that evolve as new inventions.
