NERC - New England Renaissance Conference

Classical Revival and Reception in the Renaissance

New England Renaissance Conference
University of Massachusetts Lowell
October 20, 2012

The University of Massachusetts Lowell was pleased to host the 2012 annual meeting of the New England Renaissance Conference. The theme of the 2012 conference was “Classical Revival and Reception in the Renaissance”

The conference will be held at the UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center in the heart of downtown Lowell. This brand-new center is just steps from the Boott Mill, the American Textile Museum, the Lowell National Park, and a host of other attractions, restaurants, and shops. The Concord and Merrimack rivers are within walking distance, as are several of the canals that played such a vital role in Lowell’s industrial history.

The conference will likely begin at 10 a.m. and academic sessions will end at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reception.

The conference schedule was posted in mid-September; in the menu bar at left, click on "Conference" then "Schedule". We hope you can join us!
