and private sedans. They operate a scheduled shared van service to/from Boston's

Logan International Airport. Flight Line services also include point to point pickup

and drop off.  Please note, the DoubleTree Hotel is a regular Flight Line stop for

its shared vans traveling to and from Logan Airport.  Please contact the hotel staff

airport should take fares to Lowell.  Be sure to confirm the taxi fare with the driver up

front before you leave the airport.

Fee(s):  There is a $75.40 (US) flat fee for travel to Lowell.  Flat rates are set by the

Boston Police Commissioner and are in effect for all travel beyond a 12-mile radius

from the airport.  All fares leaving Logan Airport are charged a $1.50 airport fee.

Public Transportation -

You can reach the DoubleTree Hotel from Logan Airport using the

Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority Subway System and the Commuter Rail System.

Public transportation may be the least expensive way to travel but it is also the most time

consuming.  To reach Lowell begin by taking the Logan Shuttle from your terminal to the

Blue Line’s Airport stop.  From there take the inbound train to Government Center.  At

Government Center you will need to transfer to the Green Line.  Take the Green Line,

outbound, to North Station.  At North Station you will need to change train systems.  From

North Station you will pick up the  Commuter Rail, which you will take all the way to Lowell

(no transfers necessary).  Take the Commuter Rail’s Lowell Line to the end where you will

arrive at the Gallagher Terminal in Lowell.

It is approximately a 5 minute drive to the DoubleTree Hotel from the terminal.  To get to

the hotel you can either take a taxi or you can call the DoubleTree and ask that they send

their Shuttle Bus to pick you up.  If you choose the latter option, you are encouraged to

make this request in advance.  Simply call the hotel (978-452-1200), tell them when you

will arrive at the terminal and they will have the Shuttle waiting for you when you arrive. If

you decide to take a tax you will likely find one waiting for you at the terminal.  If not, you

can call one of the following taxi services to be picked up:

Broadway Cab:  978-458-4769

City Cab:  978-454-7748

Lowell Cab:  978-446-7900

Town Taxi:  978-970-0202
