Department PhilosophyThe Department of Work Environment seeks to integrate scientific, social, economic and political approaches by recognizing the complexity of work environment problems and the need for prevention. Thus, the programs integrate methodologies traditionally found in such diverse academic units as departments of mechanical or industrial engineering, economics, public administration, statistics, and schools of medicine and public health.
