Bio Sketch
Dr. Brunette's work focuses in applying human factors and systems engineering to the design of work systems. Her interests include methods for measuring the role of job, organizational, socio-cultural factors in the quality of work life (QWL). Physical and mental health, occupational safety, job satisfaction, and psychosocial stress represent some of the QWL outcomes under her ongoing studies which are all related to underrepresented ethnic groups and women, especially those from Hispanic origin. Her research initiatives also include investigating the work environment in various Latin American countries.
