Yash R. Puri is Professor of Finance and International Business in the College of Management, where his focus is on corporate financial strategy. His main area of interest is in entrepreneurship in high technology industries. He is actively involved in the telecommunications industry as an entrepreneur and previously worked for a high technology semiconductor and photovoltaic equipment manufactures as VP Finance. He has also been actively involved in externally funded grants and contracts.

Dr. Puri has published in a variety of areas in journals such as the International Journal of Finance and has made numerous presentations at meeting of academic and professional societies.

He holds a D.B.A. and an M.B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington; and an M.B.A. from the Faculty of Management Studies at University of Delhi. He also holds an M.S. in Solid State Physics and a B.S. (Hons.) in Physics from the University of Delhi.
