Chen is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems in the College of Management where he specializes in systems development and information management technology. He is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), International Association for Computer Information Systems (IACIS), and International Information Management Association (IIMA). In addition to many referred proceedings papers, his articles appear in the Project Management Journal, Information & Management, Journal of International Information Management, and International Journal of Management. His current research interests are focused on the group support systems, information technology collaboration and electronic government. On his last sabbatical Professor Chen was involving in teaching information systems research methodology, networking and telecommunications and supervising Master theses for the National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan. Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington, an M.B.A. from the Texas Tech University, and a B.S. from the National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan. Teaches:
