Primary research interests include accounting education and financial reporting. She is published in such journals as Journal of Accountancy, Issues in Accounting Education, Internal Auditor, Oil, Gas and Energy Quarterly, Woman CPA, and The Ohio CPA Journal.
Bio Sketch
Dr. Strickland is associate professor of accounting in the COM where she teaches accounting information systems, auditing, financial accounting and managerial accounting.
Dr. Strickland currently serves the University as a member of the Faculty Senator, and as Chair of the Accounting Department.
Prior to entering academia, Dr. Strickland held positions in public accounting, private industry, and higher education administration.
