From Boston area / Logan Airport: Take Rt. 93 N towards New Hampshire. A few miles after you pass Rt. 495 you will cross the Merrimac River Bridge. Take Exit 46 / Rt. 110 immediately after you cross the river. Go 3/4 of the way around the rotary (under Rt. 93) and follow Rt. 110 towards Lowell. This road follows the north bank of the river. When you get into Lowell, Rt. 110 crosses the river but you should continue straight. You should always see the river on your left. It is about 9 miles from Rt. 93 to the “UML North” complex. When you get to UML, take a right onto University Ave and second driveway on right into the parking lot with a guard shack. The Ball Building is the yellow brick and glass building at the corner of University Ave and Riverside Street. The Plastics Department Main Office is located in Ball 204.
From New Hampshire / Manchester Airport: Take Rt. 93 S towards Boston. A few miles after you cross over the NH/MA border take Exit 46 / Rt. 110 (just before the Merrimac River). Go 1/4 of the way around the rotary and follow Rt. 110 towards Lowell (1st right). This road follows the north bank of the river. When you get into Lowell, Rt. 110 crosses the river but you should continue straight. You should always see the river on your left. It is about 9 miles from Rt. 93 to the “UML North” complex. When you get to UML, take a right onto University Ave and second driveway on right into the parking lot with a guard shack. From Southwest / Worchester Area: Take Rt. 495 N to Rt. 3 N towards Nashua, NH. Stay on Rt 3 N for 2 miles and take Exit 32 (Rt. 4 Chelmsford). At top of ramp take immediate right onto Drum Hill Road. Bear slightly left at the third light onto Wood Street. Stay straight through two more sets of lights. This brings you onto the Rourke Bridge that crosses over the Merrimac River. As soon as you cross the Bridge, take a right onto the VFW Highway that runs along the north bank of the Merrimac. There are a number of traffic lights – including crosswalk lights on this road. A few miles later you will see “UML North” (at the third major set of lights). When you get to the “UML North” complex, take a left onto University Ave and second driveway on right into the parking lot with the guard shack. From Southeast / Burlington Area: Take Rt. 3 N towards Nashua, NH. You will pass the Lowell Connector and Rt. 495. About 2 miles after the 495 interchange, take Exit 32 (Rt. 4 Chelmsford) off Rt. 3.
