
The Psychology Department at UMass Lowell prepares undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the diverse field of psychology. Additionally, many students continue with further graduate study.
Faculty members have expertise in a broad spectrum of disciplines including clinical, developmental, cognitive, health, social,community and experimental psychology. Special interests include developmental disabilities, multicultural competency, immigrant adjustment, cognitive issues of consciousness, neuropsychology, children's language development, achievement motivation, sexual and domestic violence, diversity, feminism and other social issues.
