Phi Alpha Theta (history honor society) Founded at UML


On 9 May 2005, the UMass Lowell History Dept. will induct fifteen students into a brand-new chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. This is a professional society, open to all undergraduates who display academic excellence in the study of History, dedicated to the advancement and diffusion of historical knowledge.  A reception will be held on May 9th to honor the new students, who include:  Molly Adams, Laura Brunelle, Erin Clarke, Henry DeBenedetto, Richard Ferrell, Sarah Fischer, Patty Lane, Ashley Makevich, Bruce Nicely III, Therese O'Donnell, Jeffrey Paris, Jack Porell, Elys Rodriguez, Kate Smith, and Leslie Ward.
