Computing Facilities

The Department of Computer Science resides in Olsen Hall on UML North.

Our heterogeneous computing environment consists of systems running Linux, Apple OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

For local CS student access, the department has three computer labs, consisting of Linux, Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows workstations. These laboratories are reserved for use by students enrolled in computer science classes and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CS LINUX and UNIX servers are accessible via the internet using secure utilities such as ssh/scp. Click HERE to find out how to connect.

All computer science systems are to be used following the guidelines put forth under the UML Computer Science Acceptable Use Policy.
