Department Facilities

The Department of Computer Science occupies three floors in Olsen Hall on UML North.

Our server computing power includes a number of HP AlphaServers running tru64, a 64 bit UNIX and several Dell PowerEdge servers running Red Hat Advanced Server. We have servers available for student use with 12 Gig of RAM and a few terabtyes of disk space. For CS public access, the Department has 75 Workstations running Red Hat LINUX or the current Microsoft Windows operating system.
