Faculty News and Research Activities

Professor James M. Byrne, Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, is the new editor of the journal "Victims and Offenders: Journal of Evidence-Based Practices." His colleague, Assistant Professor Andrew Harris, has been named the associate editor of the journal.

"Victims and Offenders" is a peer-reviewed journal that provides an interdisciplinary and international forum for the dissemination of new research, policies, and practices related to both victimization and offending throughout the life course.The journal is published quarterly and each issue will include original research, book reviews, and an op-ed/opinion section highlighting critical issues in the areas of victimization and offending.

Several members of the department serve on the journal's editorial board, including:
