Educational Background Ph.D.:University of Missouri-St. Louis, Criminology and Criminal Justice, December 2008 Bio Sketch Karin’s research is concerned primarily with juvenile delinquency, particularly the patterns of bullying and victimizations within schools. Her dissertation, entitled “The Causes and Consequences of Bullying” examined the factors that contribute to the bully/victim problem and to the development of the patterns (stability, co-occurrence, temporal ordering) of bullying and victimization. Karin’s current projects include (1) The Impact of the Bullying: Does the Definition of Bullying Shape the Effect? (2) The Role of Race and Ethnicity in Bullying and Victimization.
