Intimate Partner Violence Criminal Justice Policy and Agency Evaluation Bio Sketch Dr. Cares joined the faculty at UMAass Lowell in 2007. Before her graduate training, she worked in a domestic violence and sexual assault services agency. Her experience there sparked her interest in researching the causes and consequences of victimization, especially sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
