Olah Award in Hydrocarbon or Petroleum Chemistry, ACS (formerly ACS Award in Petroleum Chemistry) (2001-2003). He was the co-editor of ACS Symposia Series 665 (1997) and co-chair of the International Symposium on Ionic Polymerizations, Boston, June 30-July 4, 2003. In 2006 he received the Ralph Milkovich Memorial Lecturer Award from the University of Akron. He currently serves as Editor of Polymer Bulletin (1998-present) and as Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Macromolecular Science (1991-present). He has published over 200 papers and 18 patents.
