Bio Sketch

Rayman is a nationally recognized scholar in the field of work organization, labor, and public policy. She is the editor of the Temple University Press Labor and Social Change series and the former chair of the Older Worker Task Force for the Massachusetts Jobs Council. Rayman has also worked extensively on issues related to women and science. Under Rayman's direction, the Radcliffe Public Policy Institute has focused on work, family, and community integration issues, including unemployment, flex time, telecommuting, child care, workforce development and training, organized labor issues, and gender equity in the workplace.
