
Two Atmospheric Sciences Fellowships are awarded every year to qualified candidates from that concentration. The fellowship is a yearly stipend of $1000 for the first two years of study and will be extended up to four years as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. The awardees will receive preferred consideration for part-time employment as student assistants in the Center for Atmospheric Research and participate in the Center's ongoing international global research activities. High school seniors applying for the fellowship should have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better and an SAT score of at least 1100. The applicants must write a brief composition outlining their interest in atmospheric and environmental sciences.
