Senior Informaticist and Assistant Professor of Cell Biology

Dr. Lapointe manages Research Computing as well as consulting and teaching Bioinformatics at the UMass Medical School.  His current research interests are applied to developing analytical approaches to biological systems, most recently gene array analysis.  He currently maintains a web-based bioinformatics resource for UMass and the world.
