Rheological Properties Lab

Rheology is the study of deformation and flow of matter. The Rheological Properties Laboratory is a state of the art facility where students can study the flow properties of plastic melts. The lab, located in Ball 201, contains a variety of rheological property test equipment, including:

• Extrusion Plastometers
• Single Bore Capillary Rheometer
• Triple Bore Capillary Rheometer
• Rotational Viscometers
• Extrusion Rheometer
• Strand and Tubing Extrusion
