The Freudenberg Elastomers Materials Laboratory

UML has a long history as a leader in the area of Plastics Engineering Education. In recent years, the department has expanded its instruction and research into the area of elastomers.

The Elastomer Materials Laboratory is sponsored by Freudenberg-NOK, a leading supplier of automotive components. The lab contains equipment for compounding, injection molding and testing of thermoset and thermoplastic elastomers.
