The graduate program offers both master's and doctoral degrees. M.S.E. candidates may choose either a thesis or non-thesis option. Certificate programs are available in manufacturing, finite element analysis, modal analysis and vibrations, mechanics of materials, thermal fluids and structural modeling.
Cutting-edge research opportunities are available in composites, nanotechnology, modal analysis, solar energy and MEMS. Additionally, many graduate students participate in the Coop Program with local Massachusetts companies located in the nearby high-technology belt. Engineering management courses part of doctoral program.
