Engineering TechnologyUMass Lowell is the only public university in Massachusetts to offer part-time associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering technology. Offered through the University’s Division of Continuing Studies, in collaboration with the College of Engineering, these programs are designed to provide students with an understanding of the latest technologies and industry trends, while further developing their communication and problem solving skills. The University’s Engineering Technology Department meets on a regular basis with an industrial advisory board to discuss the latest trends in industry in an effort to ensure that the curriculum reflects modern industrial practice. Students graduating from the Engineering Technology programs are well-prepared to handle the latest issues affecting industry.
