Before we meet, please do the following:
1. Think about your study abroad goals. Where do you want to study abroad? When choosing a country, one should consider why that location would be the best fit based on interests, major, housing needs, etc.
What length of time would you like to study abroad? Trimester, Semester, Summer, or Year long
What courses do you want to take abroad and are they transferable?
What is your study abroad budget? Develop a budget for your trip including program cost, travel, spending money, etc. Explore financial aid options.
Do you have a passport? Please start the passport process as soon as possible if you do not have one. http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html
2. Research study abroad programs. Research the following web sites for some study abroad options. If you have a specific program in mind, and it is not on the list, feel free to bring the information to your appointment so we can review the details.
