Degree Progress Report

In consultation with faculty, the Centers for Learning is responsible for the development and maintenance of UMass Lowell’s automated Degree Progress Report. This report looks at the credits on a student’s record and shows how they fall into appropriate degree requirements. Courses taken into consideration include those that have been successfully completed as well current enrollments, transfer credits and test credits, provided they have been posted to the student’s transcript. The report also identifies requirements that remain incomplete, offers guidance on how to go about fulfilling them and provides useful information regarding University and department policies and procedures.

The Degree Progress Report can be accessed by students, faculty and staff through ISIS and though it does not replace the role of a faculty advisor, it is an extremely helpful tool to track completion and identify problem areas.

Currently the report is available for the following groups:

  • Undergraduate day school students who entered the University Fall 2005 and later
  • Continuing Studies students in degree or certificate programs who entered the University Fall 2006 and later.
