Exit 8 off I-89, Montpelier, Vermont: Exit 8 off I-89, merge onto Memorial Drive. At second stop light take a left onto Bailey Avenue. At intersection take right onto State Street. Vermont State House is on your left, ½ block on the Right is Capitol Plaza Hotel.
From the North: Take I-89 S. Take the exit – exit number 8 – toward US-2/ Montpelier. Merge onto Memorial Dr. Turn Left onto US-2/Bailey Ave Ext. Turn Right onto State St./US-2 Br/Theodore Roosevelt Hwy.
From Boston and South: Take the ramp toward I-93 N. Turn Slight Left onto Cross St. Turn Slight Left to take the I-93 N/US-1 N/RT-3 N ramp. Merge onto Central Artery/ Fitzgerald Exwy. Central Artery/Fitzgerald Exwy becomes I-93 N (Portions toll). Merge onto I-89 N. Take the exit –
exit number 8 – toward US-2/ Montpelier. Merge onto Memorial Dr. Turn Left onto US-2/Bailey Ave Ext. Turn Right onto State St./US-2 Br/Theodore Roosevelt Hwy.
From New York and West: Merge onto Bruckner Exwy/I-278 E. Take the I-278 E exit on the left toward New Haven. Merge onto Bruckner Exwy. Bruckner Exwy becomes I-95 N. Merge onto I-91 N via exit number 48 – on the left – toward Hartford. Merge onto I-89 N via exit number 10N toward Barre/Montpelier. Take the exit – exit number 8 – toward US-2/ Montpelier.
