Description: The next chapter in the history of UMass Lowell will be marked by a ceremony rich in academic tradition. University of Massachusetts President Jack Wilson and Board of Trustees Chair Robert Manning ’84 will join numerous dignitaries, including U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Deval Patrick, to officially launch a new vision for UMass Lowell. Members of the University community and the public are invited to attend this event, as well as the forums, lectures and exhibits occurring throughout inauguration week under the theme, Building a New Vision Together: Excellence Through Innovation.

Parking: Follow sign to designated parking lots around the Campus Recreation Center the morning of the cermony. Parking is also available at the George Ayotte Parking Gargage, 11 Post Office Sq, Lowell (near the Tsongas Arena); shuttle service will be provided.
