Bahareh's primary research interest is the application of MEMS devices in adaptive optics systems for image restoration from any kind of distortions such as atmospheric turbulence.

She received her B.S. in Physics (Nuclear Physics concentration) and M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Her hobbies include swimming and rock music.
