Bio Sketch

Yen-Fu is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UMass Lowell. He earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Bioengineering from Tatung University, Taiwan. He worked on targeted tumor radioimmuntherapy at the National Health Research Institute, Taiwan. After receiving informatics training at the Institute for Information Industry, Taiwan, Yen-Fu worked at Acer as a software programmer and was responsible for the NTU Hospital Health Management Center system development and maintenance. He ahs worked with Professor Grinstein on the VAST Challenge 2011 and on development of Weave, a web-based analysis and visualization platform. His current research interests include visualization, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.
