Educational Background

Dr. Latif's undergraduate degree is in mathematics from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. She earned her MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan and her Ph.D in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her doctoral dissertation addressed issues in the area of International Financial Integration.

Bio Sketch

Dr. Latif is an Assistant Professor of finance in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She did her Ph.D. in finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also holds an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and a BA in Mathematics from the Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan. Her main areas of research include international investments and financial accounting but she has also worked on projects related to ecological economics and occupational health. Her most recent publications are in the area of earnings management. She brings her expertise in econometrics and financial modeling to CPH-NEW in her role as a researcher.
