Bio Sketch

Elaine Donnelly manages a federally funded Learn and Serve initiative at CFWC, with a focus on expanding locally based service learning and community service opportunities for UMass Lowell students and faculty. Her background experience includes developing programming for middle school, high school and university students, overseeing college access and college persistence initiatives, and related work involving partnerships between local organizations and K12/higher education. A former Peace Corps volunteer, her interests include the intersections of educational policy with other policy areas, including immigration, youth development, and resource allocation. Elaine is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy at the UMass Boston McCormack School for Policy Studies.
