Bio Sketch

Born and raised in the Washington, DC area. Commissioned as a second lieutenant in the USAF in 1960 and retired after 20 years active duty as a Program Manager. Consulted for the Department of Defense for over 25 years as a systems engineer supporting US research and development programs at Hanscom AFB, MA. Volunteered to tutor at Butler Middle School for 1 year. Joined the GEAR-UP tutor program in 2006 with a major interest in math and science.
