Anything interesting you would like people to know about you?
Serving the role of a tutor and mentor for Gear Up Lowell has given me invaluable experience working with, sharing with, and learning from younger students. The friendships and connections that I have made as member of Gear Up are ones that will always be apart of my life. I will never forget the enjoyment I receive from working with my peers on a week to week basis. The times I share with my co-workers and the younger students we serve are very rewarding.

Working for Gear Up has given me certain awareness, an awareness that appreciates the characteristics of hard work, determination, patience, and humor. Having worked with students and teachers on a one-on-one basis, I have come to understand the importance of an education and the difficulties of trying to get younger students to be able to see an education, a college one, as the key to his or her future success. I am proud to say that I have been given the opportunity to impact the lives of numerous younger students through my experiences of working for Gear Up Lowell. I hope to continue to make positive influences in my community as Gear Up has taught me, and as Gear Up will most certainly continue to do.
