Think About This

Everyone has his or her own form of art, whether it is music, painting, theater, etc.  The expressions of a form of art can be seen and shown in many different ways. Thus how do you feel your art contributes to the economic development of the city of Lowell?

There are many different kinds of answers for this question. Have you thought about....?

  • Showcasing
  • Hosting an exhibit
  • Displaying artwork for sale
  • Purchasing an artwork
  • Go to different areas in the neighborhood to check out the types of artwork being displayed
  • Bring people to introduce them to art
  • How do you think the arts benefit Lowell in the future?

“A person could be inspired to clean up the river in Lowell just by looking at a painting”, said a teenager who lived in Lowell since he was born. Do you go to events downtown?

If YES,

  • Why do you go?
  • Do you go for yourself or for the community?
  • Is this important to Lowell as a city?
  • What do you do when you go there?

If NO,

  • Maybe you should give it a try.
  • Stay open-minded, because you might never know what it can provide….

THINK ABOUT THIS!

  • How could you become associated with the arts?
  • What kinds of art are you interested in?
  • How would you reach your goal?
  • Do you expect to gain a lot as a result of your art?
  • Do you think your art is profitable?
  • How do you expect to benefit from this?
  • Are there a lot of people supporting the arts?
  • How can you make your art more noticeable to others out there?
  • Do you pay attention to the types of art out there?
