This one-day symposium is normally held on the Friday following Thanksgiving week, to coincide with the MRS Conference in Boston. This symposium focuses on current trends in a wide range of materials sciences research being conducted in universities and industry. Eight accomplished experts in their respective fields are invited to make presentations. Student researchers and post-doctoral fellows participate in a poster presentation section.
